9.1i CORE Generator - Generation fails if CORE Generator is launched from a directory relative to project directory

Keywords: IP, Java, failed, generate, finish, relative, parallel, adjacent, location, open, CWD

CORE Generator fails to generate an IP core if it is invoked from a directory that is NOT at or above the location where the .cgp file is located.

For example, consider the following two directories:

In c:\test\core1, a project is created so that c:\test\coregen.cgp exists and c:\test\core1 is the output directory.

If CORE Generator is started from c:\test or c:\test\core2, CORE Generator fails to generate an IP core.

To avoid this, change to the CORE Generator project directory, then open CORE Generator from the Command line.

This problem has been fixed for CORE Generator operation on Windows OS in the latest 9.2i Service Pack.
However, the problem is still seen when using Linux OS.

Service packs are available at:
The first service pack containing the fix is 9.2i Service Pack 1.
