11.1 EDK - In the sys_thread_new lwip130_1_00_a function, what is an acceptable stacksize value?

Description

Keywords: pthread, socket, embedded, OS, RTOS, Xilkernel

In the function:

sys_thread_t sys_thread_new(char *name, void (* thread)(void *arg), void *arg, int stacksize, int prio);

what are the acceptable values for parameter stacksize?

Solution

The stacksize parameter indicates the amount of stack space to be reserved for the thread.

In lwip130_v1_00_a, the stacksize parameter is not used.

Instead, the stack size is set to be the same as the PTHREAD_STACK_SIZE configured in Xilkernel.
