When I attempt to trigger my ILA in the ChipScope Analyzer, I see the following messages:
"ERROR: Fatal - Did not find trigger mark in buffer. Data buffer may be corrupt! "
This is down to a Timing Issue in the design or core that is affecting the data being sampled, corrupting the data in the buffer. To attempt to work around this issue, try the following:
-Simplify the ILA core.
-Apply offset in/out and period constraints to all applicable signals to ensure timing issues are not causing this issue.
-Slow down the speed of the cable.
-Explore changing the depth/width/trigger settings in order to get this design to meet timing again.
-Make sure that BUFG insertion on the JTAG clock is implemented.
-If core files (ICON and ILA) have been generated and subsequently moved during implementation, ensure that the associated constraint files were also moved (*.ncf).
-Re-implement with a Timing Driven Strategy in ISE.
