PlanAhead - In the Hierarchy View, what does the width of the bar represent in the design?

Description

In the PlanAhead Hierarchy View, what does the width of the bar represent in the design? Are different primitive types weighted differently?

Solution

Presently, the Instance Hierarchy width is determined by the number of primitives, regardless of type, used in the modules in that level of hierarchy. This may be changed to weight different primitive types (i.e. a BRAM would equal more width than a LUT).
