The GTX recommendation for the OOBDETECT_THRESHOLD_0 has changed since the 1000BASE-X PCS/PMA or SGMII v9.0 Core was released in the initial 10.1 IPUpdate. In 10.1.03, this will cause the tools to error out with the following message:
"ERROR:PhysDesignRules:1742 - Unsupported GTX_DUAL programming for comp <..>/gtx_dual_i. The OOBDETECT_THRESHOLD_0 general config data setting 001 is not supported. The allowed values for OOBDETECT_THRESHOLD_0 are 110 and 111. Please re-generate this component in the latest version of Coregen to fix this error. If the error persists, please open a case with Xilinx Technical Support to report this problem.
ERROR:PhysDesignRules:1742 - Unsupported GTX_DUAL programming for comp"
To work around this issue:
1. The GTX wrapper files in the 1000BASE-X PCS/PMA or SGMII Core Example Design wrapper can be regenerated with the Virtex-5 GTX RocketIO Wizard v1.5. For more information on regenerating these files, see Chapter 7 of the 1000BASE-X PCS/PMA or SGMII.
2. The OOBDETECT_THRESHOLD_0 can be changed from "001" to "111" in example_design/transceiver/rocketio_wrapper_gtx_tile.v/vhd.
This will be resolved in the next release of the 1000BASE-X PCS/PMA or SGMII Core.
