11.1 EDK, MicroBlaze - "WARNING:MDT - PORT:I_ADDRTAG CONNECTOR:i_lmb_M_ADDRTAG - microblaze_v2_1_0.mpd line 126 - floating connection!..."

Description

When I use MicroBlaze processor with LMB or FSL, the following warnings occur:

"WARNING:MDT - PORT:I_ADDRTAG CONNECTOR:i_lmb_M_ADDRTAG - microblaze_v2_1_0.mpd line 126 - floating connection!
WARNING:MDT - PORT:D_ADDRTAG CONNECTOR:d_lmb_M_ADDRTAG - microblaze_v2_1_0.mpd line 137 - floating connection!
WARNING:MDT - PORT:FSL0_S_CLK CONNECTOR:fsl1_FSL_S_Clk - microblaze_v2_1_0.mpd line 200 - floating connection!
WARNING:MDT - PORT:FSL0_M_CLK CONNECTOR:fsl1_FSL_M_Clk - microblaze_v2_1_0.mpd line 205 - floating connection!"

What is the significance of these warnings?

Solution

These signals are not used and the warnings can be ignored.

These ports are scheduled to be removed along with the warnings with MicroBlaze processor v8.00.a, to be released in EDK 12.1.
