Licensing - Using a Node-locked License on Multiple Machines

I have purchased a single-seat, node-locked license for the ISE Design Suite. I would like to be able to use the software onvarious machines. How can I generate a license so that it can be usedon multiple machines?

One option tolicense multiple machines with one node-locked license is to use a FLEX ID dongle, see (Xilinx Answer 35027).

NOTE: FLEX ID dongles are not officially supported on LINUX operating systems, see(Xilinx Answer 35027).

Another possibilityis to run the software on a remoteterminal with the license locked to the remote machine, see (Xilinx Answer 42411).If you take this approach, be careful to avoid violating the End User License Agreement (EULA), which states that the license can only be used by one user at a time.

For more information on the preferred ID (MAC address, drive serial number, or dongle) to use when setting upa node-locked license, see (Xilinx Answer 42410).
