If using the LogiCORE Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), how do I convert the real and imaginary outputsof the FFT into Magnitude and Phase?

Solution

The LogiCORE Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) core gives output in Real and Imaginary form. If there is a requirement for magnitude and phase, the Cordic IP's Vector Translation application can be used.
