12.x/13.1 iMPACT - "Verify Succeeded" is reported even the CPLD is blank

Description

WhenI run Verify on my CPLD part, it always returns "Verify Succeeded" even thoughI suspect it is not programming correctly; why is this?

Solution

This is a known issue and resolved in iMPACT 13.2. To work around the issue you can do a readback. You can then do a comparison of the read back JEDEC to the programmed JEDEC.

You have another workaround; you can perform Checksum.
