I have registered and logged on to the Xilinx Product License site or tried to download Xilinx Tools and I am getting an error message related to an "export compliance alert."
What is this message about?
What do I need to do to proceed?
US export regulations require that your First Name, Last Name, Company Name and Shipping Address be verified before access is given to Xilinx.com accounts.
Please ensure you provide accurate and complete information for immediate processing.
Unfortunately, addresses with Post Office Boxes and names / addresses with Non-Roman Characters with accents such as grave, tilde or colon are not supported by US export compliance systems.
As well as the above, Xilinx software programs, technical data and products may not be exported or re-exported, either directly or indirectly, to U.S. embargoed destinations or entities of U.S. embargoed destinations, or to individuals on the Entity List, Denied Persons List and the Specially Designated Nationals List without prior written authorization from the relevant US departments.
Furthermore due to strict export control policy, it is no longer possible to create or to maintain an online account in some E or D category countries. See here for more information.
To correct errors or omissions in your profile information, clear your cache/internet history and please initiate the sign in process again for product registration/download.
You will be prompted with an address validation screen.
At this point you can correct any mistakes in your profile and continue with the product registration and download process.
If you have checked all of the above and still are unable to proceed due to the "export compliance alert", there is a possibility that you are currently unable to generate a license or download software due to your profile being screened by our export compliance team and placed on hold.
In order for your profile to be reset and cleared, please send an email to Xilinx Customer Support (firstname.lastname@example.org) indicating your "export compliance issue" and they in turn will contact Xilinx Customer Service on your behalf, who would be able to screen and verify your profile and re-activate this then, so that you can login and download the required software without issues.
