Vivado HLS - __SYNTHESIS__ results in GUI highlight issue and Directive tab error

Description

If the __SYNTHESIS__ macro is used in the code, the interface displays two issues.

  • The code is incorrectly highlighted.
  • The Directive tab allows directives to be applied on the wrong part of the __SYNTHESIS__ code.

Solution

This issue will be resolved in the next release of Vivado High-Level Synthesis.
