Kintex-7 FPGA KC705 - Base TRD Throughput Issues if Base TRD Files do not Match ISE Version used

If the version of ISE Design Suite used to program the Base TRD onto the KC705 board is different from that associated with the Base TRD files used, customers may experience a reduction in throughput (or no throughput at all) being seen in the Base TRD GUI.

The KC705 Base TRD can be re-loaded onto the Kintex-7 FPGA KC705 Evaluation Kit through iMPACT tool and the use of RDF0145, Restoring Flash Contents.

It is important when re-loading the KC705 Base TRD that customers use the correct version of ISE tools for the Base TRD version. For example, if a customer is using the KC705 Base TRD for 13.4, they should use iMPACT 13.4 tool to reprogram the flash device on the KC705. Failing to do so may result in a reduction in throughput, or no throughput at all, being reported in the Base TRD GUI.
