Vivado IP Flows - What does the term VLNV stand for?

I see the term VLNV associated with IP delivered through the IP catalog. What does VLNV stand for?

VLNV stands for vendor, library, name, and version."

Each IP delivered through the Vivado IP catalog has a unique VLNV used by the software to identify the IP.

Any user packaging their own IP with the IP Packager, will be asked for a VLNV to identify the IP. If the IP is ever updated, the newly packaged IP should be given a new VLNV as well, in order to differentiate it from previous versions of the IP that may exist in user IP repositories.
