KC705 - Schematics - Is the Jitter Attenuator on the KC705 an Si5324 or Si5326 device?

Description

The Kintex-7 FPGAKC705 Evaluation Kitschematics show U70 as the Si5324C-C-GM device from Silicon Labs. However, the net names from this device use Si5326, for example SI5326_SDA. Which jitter attenuator device is actually on the KC705?

Solution

The jitter attenuator on the Kintex-7 FPGA KC705 is the Si5324 Precision Clock Multiplier / Jitter Attenuator from Silicon Labs.

The schematics shows the correct device, the Si5324; however, the net names reference the Si5326 as a legacy issue.

All information in UG810, the KC705 Evaluation Board for Kintex-7 FPGA User Guide, (v1.2),references the Si5324 (except the net names) and this information is up to date and accurate.
