The enhancement is for the BootROM to use the INIT_B pin to indicate when a boot error has been detected.
The BootROM controls the logic level on the INIT_B pin indirectly by writing to the devcfg.CTRL[PCFG_PROG_B] bit.
In 7z020/45 CES devices, the INIT_B pin does not indicate a PS boot failure.
