Zynq-7000 AP SoC, GigE - Back-off Time is more Aggressive than the Standard Requirement


The controller's back-off time does not strictly adhere to the Truncated Binary Exponential Back-off algorithm.


In some cases, the controller is more aggressive. Depending on the system, more or less collisions will occur. The algorithm discrepancy is not observed until afterfive consecutive collisions and only applies to the controller in 100 Base-T mode.

Trivial. Additional (or fewer) collisions will occur after the fifth consecutive collision.
Configurations Affected:
System using GigE in 100 Base-T mode.
Device Revision(s) Affected:
