LogiCORE IP Video Scaler v7.00.a/v8.0/v8.1 - Why does an EOL error occur on the INTC_IF or in the interrupt registers, even when my frame size is valid?

Description

Why does an EOL error occur on the INTC_IF or in the interrupt registers, even when my frame size is valid?

The Video Scaler core is returning an EOL Error on the INTC_IF interface (or throwing an interrupt), but my data is coming from the Video Scaler correctly sized.

Solution

This is a known issue with v7.00.a/v8.0/v8.1 of the core where it throws the EOL Early error incorrectly every line.

It is recommended that users ignore the INTC_IF interface and the EOL interrupts and instead use the INTC_IF interface from a downstream IP until this issue has been resolved.
