Description

I am attempting to use VTC v5.01.a in EDK, but during implementation the tools complain about this constraint/path:

Why do I receive an NGDBuild error when using the VTC v5.01.a in EDK 14.3 ISE Design Suite?

Solution

This is a known issue in the Video Timing Controller v5.01.a that is fixed in the Video Timing Controller v5.01.a Rev2 or later pCore patch and in the Video Timing Controller v6.0.
It has also been fixed in ISE Design Suite 14.4.
