Why do I get an error stating the TEMAC license is not found when generating the Kintex-7 FPGA Embedded Kit TRD in 2013.2?
[Common 17-69] Command failed: This design contains one or more cores for which bitstream generation is not supported: TRIMAC_GEN
This error occurs because, by default, no license for the Tri Mode Ethernet MAC core is provided.
You will need to either purchase a license or generate a hardware evaluation core.
To get the TRD working, you will need to at least obtain a Hardware Evaluation License, which allow the design to run for ~4-8 hours before requiring the device to be reprogrammed.
