2013.4 Vivado Power - The 'set_operating_conditions -grade' should be associated with the given part of the design

Description

The 'set_operating_conditions -grade' should be associated with the given part of the design, but I can change the temperature grade beyond the given part temperature grade.

For a XC part, it allows temp_grade to be "military". Currently, it allows any temp_grade settings since there is no check with respect to "part" setting.

Solution

The speed_grade and temp_grade are inter-dependent.

The temperature grade (set_operating_conditions -grade extended) is defined for the power analysis, but it is not currently reference back to the given part of the design. In Olympus, the Vivado tool will not allow you to set the temperature grade beyond the given part.

For example, for XC part select, it should only display supported grades (commercial, extended, and industrial).
For XA/XQ part select, it displays military and automotive temp_grades respectively.
