Vivado - What is the meaning of "Include configuration settings" option when archiving a project

When attempting to archive a project in Vivado Design Suite by clicking

(File -> Archive Project...),

There is an "Include configuration settings" option in the "Archive Project" window.
What is the meaning of this option?

If "Include configuration settings" is enabled,  any initialization Tcl commands (init.tcl) will be added to the archive file under the <project_name>/config_settings folder.

For information about init.tcl, please refer to (Xilinx Answer 53090).
