2014.2 Vivado IP Flows - I am not able to "Disable/Enable"' the xdc file of an IP core using the right-click menu in the Sources view

In the right-click menu for files of an IP core, many options (including "disable/enable") are grayed out and unavailable.

In previous releases it was possible to enable or disable the constraints (XDC) file of an IP core.

Can I do this in Vivado 2014.2?

The option to enable or disable the constraints files of an IP core from the Source file right click menu has been fixed in Vivado 2014.3.
In Vivado 2014.2, you can use the following methods to enable or disable the file.

  • Use a Tcl command in the Tcl console
For example:
set_property IS_ENABLED 0 [get_files XX/pcie_7x_0-PCIE_X0Y0.xdc]
  • Set the option in the source file properties.
