2015.1 Vivado Sysgen - Why do I get "error using rethrow" when trying to run Etherenet Point-To-Point hardware cosimulation with Burst Mode enabled?

I want to use Burst Mode for Ethernet Point-To-Point hardware cosimulation (cosim).

However I get the error in the screen capture below when I run hwcosim_test.m:

How can I resolve this?

This is a known issue in Hardware Cosim when running in Burst Mode if an error is caught by the flow.

This is due to a typo in the generated M-code.

The line number referred to in the error needs to be changed to include parenthesis.

For the above example, line 36 should be:

rethrow (err);

After modifying the M-code and re-running the M-file, a more useful error message for debugging the original issue should be reported.

This typo will be fixed in a future release of Vivado.
