UltraScale/UltraScale+ QDRII+ IP - XSDB Debugger indicates MicroBlaze has failed but calibration completes

The MIG XSDB Debugger can report "MB FAIL" indicating that MicroBlaze has failed during calibration, but init_calib_complete still asserts and no data errors are detected.

Is this safe to ignore and how can I fix it?


This is an issue with the status reporting of the XSDB Debugger, and should have no negative effects in hardware.

If you need to run report_property [lindex [get_hw_migs] 0] or use the hw_manager GUI to see the calibration results and debug information, then issue a soft reset and the XSDB Debug GUI should be corrected.

If you are using the example design to check for data errors when running various traffic patterns with VT variation testing, then both init_calib_complete and data_compare_error should be used.
