Description

Version Found: XHMC IP v1.0

Version Resolved: See (Xilinx Answer 67969)

The XHMC IP axi4mm_wready signal on the AXI4MM interface does not propagate backpressure correctly which can eventually lock up the interface.

Solution

The attached patch contains an update to the axi4mm_wready backpressure logic. For more information, please refer to (PG216).

To install the patch, extract the contents of "AR68217_Vivado_2016_3_preliminary_rev1.zip" to the 2016.3 install directory (for example, C:\Xilinx\Vivado\2016.3\), then open Vivado 2016.3 and generate or regenerate all of the XHMC IP.

Note: This tactical patch is only compatible with the Vivado 2016.3 and XHMC IP v1.0.
