LogiCORE MIPI CSI-2 RX Subsystem v4.0 - TUSER port is reporting false CRC, ECC and Frame number

Description

When VFB is enabled, the TUSER port is reporting false values for the CRC, ECC, and Frame number.

Solution

This issue occurs in the LogiCORE MIPI CSI-2 RX Subsystem generated in Vivado versions 2018.3 to 2020.1.

This issue will be fixed in Vivado 2020.2. The issue does not appear in versions prior to the 2018.3 release.

  • Vivado 2018.3 - Users can download the MIPI CSI-2 RX Subsystem patch from (Xilinx Answer 73660) to work around this issue
  • Vivado 2019.1 - Users can download the MIPI CSI-2 RX Subsystem patch from (Xilinx Answer 75324) to work around this issue
  • Vivado 2019.2 - Users need to upgrade to Vivado 2020.1 and download the MIPI CSI-2 RX Subsystem patch from (Xilinx Answer 75325) to work around this issue
  • Vivado 2020.1 - Users can download the MIPI CSI-2 RX Subsystem patch from (Xilinx Answer 75325) to work around this issue

It is recommended to update to the latest version of the IP.
