|UHD-SDI GT v2.0 –Why is the QPLL1 used when the QPLL0 is selected on 12G-SDI?
Description
When the QPLL0 is selected in the UHD-SDI GT in Vivado 2019.2, QPLL1 is always used in the Transceivers Wizard instead of QPLL0.
Solution
This is known issue in both Vivado 2019.2 and Vivado 2020.1. This issue occurs on both the GTYE4 and GTHE4 type.
- Vivado 2019.2 users can download the UHD-SDI GT Patch from (Xilinx Answer 73173) to work around this issue.
- Vivado 2020.1 users can download the UHD-SDI GT Patch from (Xilinx Answer 75505) to work around this issue.
This issue is planned to be fixed in the Vivado 2020.2 release.
