3.1i NGDBuild - "WARNING:NgdBuild:483 - Attribute "LOC" on "<pin_name>" is on the wrong type of object..."

General Description:
When running a 4K/Spartan design through FPGA Express with instantiated
BUFGs, I encounter the following warning message:

WARNING:NgdBuild:483 - Attribute "LOC" on "IQ_DEC_CLK" is on the wrong
type of object. Please see the "Attributes, Constraints, and Carry Logic" section of
the Libraries Guide for more information on this attribute.

Solution

This problem related to the way FPGA Express inserts IPADS into the design. To
work around this issue, run NGDBuild with the -a switch.

In Foundation 3.1i:

1. Select the Implementation Options pull-down menu -> Options
2. Push the Edit Options button for implementation.
3. Select the Translate tab.
4. Select "Create I/O Pads from Ports."

1. Right-click on "Implement Design."
2. Select the Translate Options tab.
3. Select "Create I/O Pads from Ports."

In Design Manager:
