  •  Java

  •  Memory dedicated to Java
Specifies the amount of memory allocated to Java when generating an IP core.
Some IP cores delivered by the CORE Generator software have Java-based customizations GUIs and are generated using a Java-based elaborator. The Memory dedicated to Java preference enables you to set the amount of memory allocated to these Java components from the available pool of physical and virtual memory on your computer. When the CORE Generator generates very large cores, more memory may be required by the elaborator than the default CORE Generator software setting supplies, resulting in "Out of Memory" errors. In other cases, when encountering Java DLL "Initialization Failed" errors, you may need to decrease the amount of memory dedicated to Java to address the issue. In most cases the error message includes a link to an Answer Record with the appropriate recommendation.
