General Description:
After I program an XC2C384 device using iMPACT, the Global Set/Reset pin fails to pre-set or re-set the appropriate registers.

Solution

A bug in the programming software incorrectly programs the configuration bits for the Global Set/Reset pin. As a result, the GSR pin is not connected to the desired register, and the register does not respond to activity on the GSR pin.

To work around this issue, use the product term set/reset instead of the global set/reset line. De-select the "Use Global Set/Reset" option in the Fit properties (Basic Tab).

This problem has been fixed in the latest 6.1i Service Pack, available at:
http://support.xilinx.com/support/techsup/sw_updates
The first service pack containing the fix is 6.1i Service Pack 1.
