(DS593) clearly states that Vivado tools do not support the PGND function, and that with the Vivado tools the cable PGND remains in a high-Z state.
This statement can be found under Figure 23: PGND signal.
However, Vivado does support the PGND function. The statement is incorrect in (DS593)
The correct statement should be as follows:
"The Vivado hardware design manager and the Xilinx SDK tools support the PGND function.
These tools drive PGND low while the applications are connected to the cable.
Once all applications disconnect from the cable the PGND pin is returned to a high-Z state."
