Xilinx Targeted Design Platforms (Xilinx Boards and Kits) are sold to customers with a 90-day warranty.
The 90-day period commences from the date of delivery of the kit.
If a customer believes there is an issue with the board, and is looking to open an RMA Request, they must do so through the Service Portal:
http://www.xilinx.com/support/service-portal.html > RMA Portal.
For a Boards and Kits Electrical RMA, once the Service Portal case is opened, a Service Request is automatically created with Technical Support.
This Service Request must be fully debugged before the RMA request can proceed to the next stage of the process.
The kit must be within the 90-day period (date of delivery to date of RMA Case creation) to qualify for an RMA.
Please see (Xilinx Answer 56407) for details on the Boards and Kits RMA flow.
Support for Xilinx Boards and Kits is intended to span the useful lifetime of that kit.
All kits headed for obsolescence will be subject to a Product Discontinuation Notice (PDN), and the extent of the support period after the final delivery date will be outlined in the PDN.
