This demo showcases a smart retail system design using Alveo datacenter acceleration cards to help prevent major revenue loss from stealing activities or checkout mistakes at Self-checkout terminals. The same video analysis pipeline can be widely applied on many other smart analytics scenarios, such as smart city, smart hospital, smart office, etc.
